If you are a Blogger, then you must have heard of Blog Engage. In case you haven’t, let me tell you about it. Blog Engage is a community for bloggers. It is a platform where we can submit posts, discuss, vote for various posts we like, make new friends and much more. It is the best way of informing fellow bloggers that I have a new post on my blog. Blog Engage is very popular among bloggers. Many popular bloggers are part of this community.
Blog Engage has started one of the biggest blogging contest. It is a guest blogging contest and the winner gets $1000 USD as the grand prize. Throughout 2011 they will have many guest bloggers on their community blog. You write a guest post on the blog engage community blog and then you market and promote it. They give you points for social sharing and marketing abilities. The person with maximum points will win the Blog Engage 1000 USD Best Guest Blogger of 2011.

How To Win
1. Firstly Register for an account here and fill out your bio info. Contact the admin at admin (@) blogengage dot com letting him know your username and he will upgrade your account.
2. Login to their WordPress back end, write your Guest Article and submit it for pending review. At this time you can also e-mail the admin your article about the contest. (You need to write an article about the contest in your own blog.)
3. Guest Articles must be at least 450 words.
4. Spread the word about your Guest Article through all your social media channels: Twitter, Blog Engage, Facebook, etc.
Tweets, 50 points per tweet up to a max of 1500 points
Linked In Votes, 50 points per vote, up to a max of 1500 points
Facebook Likes, 50 points per tweet up to a max of 1500 points
Engages at Blog Engage, 100 points per Engage (vote) Unlimited points
